The Crooked Billet

The Crooked Billet, one of England's most popular, favourite foodie pubs. Built in 1647 retaining original rustic, country charm. No bar counter, beer is drawn directly from the cellar. A large ambitious menu, it's cooking enjoys an unrivalled reputation.

Observer Food Monthly voted it Britain's best Sunday luncheon and Waitrose Food Magazine its favourite gastro-pub two consecutive years. Featuring in most food guides, known for big flavours with a rough edge. A Michelin inspector wrote "the chairs look like they cost £2.50 from a junk shop".

Famously served Kate Winslet Bangers & Mash for her wedding, it has become a celebrity favourite.

The London Street Brasserie.

The food is of paramount importance to us at the London Street Brasserie. We aim to cook the best fresh quality produce to exacting standards. Our menus are eclectic, offering a mixture of British, French and Mediterranean cookery in a style of continuity. It is so often the case nowadays that when more than one style of cuisine is offered by a restaurant, this fusion of style becomes a confusion.
