Our head chef Narendra Singh, joined the Spice Merchant Group with the opening of our successful and newest restaurant in Henley-on-Thames.

Narendra, originally from Delhi, has over 19 years of experience. Highly popular and sort after, Niranda has worked in the Amaya in London and Radisson in India. He was excellently trained by the famous Marriot in India too! The Spice Merchant's menu in Henley reflex's Narendra's northern Indian routes. The menu has his traditional touch along side a modern flare.

Achievements

Most recently we have been presented with the Winners of The British Curry House Award in South of England 2006. This award recognises excellence in food and service.

We are among the top ten Indian restaurants in the Times magazine and Guardian newspaper.
