Local family-run business, The Copas Partnership, have been specialising in the production of traditional farmfresh turkeys, solely for Christmas, since 1957.

Today, the company is established as one of the UK's leading luxury Christmas turkey producers and Copas Turkeys are available from almost 250 selected independent retailers nationwide, (including Gabriel Machin in Henley-on-Thames).

Dedicated to producing the highest quality turkey available, traditional production methods (such as dry plucking by hand and game-hanging) are blended with all the benefits of modern facilities to produce a Christmas turkey, unbeatable in taste, texture and presentation.

On his visit to the Cookham Dean in 2005, celebrity chef Rick Stein commented, “ We were delighted to discover Copas Turkeys in our ongoing search for small producers of excellent quality food in Britain, people who value the taste and quality of food and have a passion for what they're doing ” and in November the same year, further recognition came in the form of the Farmers Weekly Poultry Producer of the Year Award.

In addition to whole birds, the Copas Very Very Special Turkey range includes both bronze and white Turkey Crowns and Turkey Breast Roasts, whilst the Very Very Special complementary product range (developed from old family recipes!) includes Copas Cranberry Sauce with Rosem ary, Boxing Day Chutney with Green Tomatoes and Sage & Onion Stuffing with Chestnuts .
