Proper Preserves - all made by hand by Suzanne! If you like your pickle made the old-fashioned way, Proper Preserves are for you! The philosophy is to keep things simple. Use good ingredients, match them with care, take plenty of time and steer clear of artificial additives and preservatives. All Proper Preserves are made by hand, using traditional methods, in a conventional kitchen using preserving pans and paying care and attention to the process. Making preserves in the traditional way takes time . but it's worth the wait!

Suzanne Burgoyne started Proper Preserves at the beginning of 2006 having been encouraged by the compliments she'd received from family and friends who had received, eaten and enjoyed an array of her preserves!
