Huw Griffith's lifelong ambition was to have his own food company and he realised his dream in 2004 by making a small smoker in his garden in which he smoked garlic and sold to a local delicatessen in brighton. Huw now owns a lovely smoke house on a Sussex farm where he smokes garlic and spices under the name of Besmoke which he supplies to many shops and restaurants around the country. Huw lives with his partner Louise and Baby Morien Griffiths in Brighton.
Achievements have included:
A Besmoke innovation is the Oak Smoked Peppercorns. These have just been listed by Booths in the North West of England and distribution is growing. Some large spice companies have also enquired about Besmoke supplying bulk orders for packaging under their own brand.

Besmoke started as a garden venture in 2004. Besmoke now occupies a lovely smoke house on a Sussex farm. Although it started as a garlic smoking venture we have now diversified by innovating a range of smoked spices. We also smoke sea salt. Distribution is growing and we are in talks with many distributors country wide. Our first large order came from ASDA when they introduced their 'Locally Sourced' range in Sussex stores.
