Lucy Stark has never forgotten the taste of the famous strudels baked by her Hungarian grandmother. Fascinated by the 'secret' of those fluffy, buttery and sweet filo pastries, Lucy has slowly but surely carved out a career in food and now heads the bespoke cake firm, 'Confetti and Spice'.

For the past six years she has been catering highly individual and specified banquets/ dinners/ luncheons for private and corporate functions and weddings. Known originally as 'Lucy Stark Foods', her clients have included The Henley Royal Regatta, Pearce Group, (who build Waitrose shop outlets), The Henley Tea Rooms and The British Legion.

Achievements have included:
Lucy has been asked by two London firms to create and supply some of her hand decorated works of Art - and is now in the process of putting together a team of imaginative professionals to make this possible.

Confetti and Spice's intentions are two-fold: new recipes are being constantly invented and we create totally individual one-off pieces; the process begins with a simple call and an appointment. Nothing pleases us more than to have a one-to-one consultation, hearing the clients ideas, and in turn inspire. Using the best sourced ingredients, we create cake designs that make every celebration special and memorable.

We work alongside wedding organisers, hotels and caterers. Based in Oxfordshire, we deliver throughout the United Kingdom and one of our most recent wedding cakes is to be featured in July's issue of 'Bride' magazine.
