Originally just an elaborate joke; producing such tasteful classics as 'Old Goat' and the ever piquant 'Pants', our company was spawned as the awkward child of a frustrated writer (under-talented) and a fiendish cook. Tim & Lu (or at least Lu) have grown up considerably since then; especially when we realised that we actually had a great product that people loved. However, in ditching the bad humour we took care to retain the ethos of quality, individualism and provenance that made our initial offerings such a success: Beautiful oils, best quality ingredients, and traditional production.

The Fine Oil and Spice Company is an independent family business based in Winchcombe in Gloucestershire, committed to producing beautiful oils and spices that enhance the food, diet, health and happiness of our customers.

We have had a fantastic first 2 years, adding many contented customers through the web, word-of-mouth, trade and consumer shows. We have also opened accounts with a number of local delicatessens and farm shops throughout the UK (from Perth to Jersey by way of Belfast actually!) and are proud to be a part of the growing renaissance of quality speciality producers.
