22/02/2007 - Two of the highest rated chefs in the country confirm they will be making their first appearances at the Chef Demonstration Theatre at The Henley Food Festival 2009
John Campbell
recently won his second Michelin Star for the Vineyard in Stockcross, one of only four hotels in the country to receive this accolade. The award coincides with the launch of a new look restaurant 'the ultimate destination for anyone with a passion for fine wine and Michelin-starred food'.
John Campbell, combines the latest cutting edge cuisine with, where possible, locally sourced and freshly produced ingredients. The Vineyard, as its name suggests, offers a choice of over 2000 international wines.
Daniel Galmiche
Located within the prestigious Cliveden Hotel, Berkshire, Waldo's Restaurant has just been awarded a highly coveted Michelin star. Under the direction of Executive Head Chef, Daniel Galmiche, dishes are creative and colourful, with a particular emphasis on using only the finest and freshest ingredients sourced from local suppliers wherever possible.
Galmiche comments: 'the opulence and beauty of the house and grounds warrant the finest culinary standards which we are proud to offer at Cliveden. There is no greater accolade for a chef than receiving a Michelin star and I am delighted that the restaurant has received formal recognition from the Michelin Guide'.
