I was born with a wooden spoon in my hand and have cooked for as long as I can remember. Having cooked for family and friends functions, the natural step was to do a Diploma in Professional Cookery. I then taught cookery at Reading College for a while before setting up my own cookery school near Henley. Cooking is so much more than the sum of its parts. Yes, its about ingredients, skills and know how but its also about transformation, generosity and warmth. This is what people take away with them from our courses at Stirring Stuff.

Stirring Stuff was set in Autumn 2005 to provide imaginative , contemporary cookery courses and demonstrations taught by enthusiastic and committed professionals . Whatever your ability ( perceived or otherwise ) we aim to build confidence and inspire creativity. Belinda Hill has taught professional cookery locally for a number of years and has set up Henley's new cookery school in stylish , purpose built kitchens set in an attractive C17th farm building contained within a charming fragrant herb garden  ( all 1.5 miles from the centre of Henley on Thames ).
