Footfall was founded by Peter McConnell a marketing professional with extensive agency experience who for five years was Sales & Marketing Manager at the highly successful River & Rowing Museum in Henley on Thames , where his strategic thinking and proactive marketing solutions saw visitor numbers grow by 45% including an increased demographic and geographic audience reach. As part of Henley 's Tourism & Leisure group Peter helped to establish the Le Cordon Bleu Henley Food Festival and to bring a new professionalism to the town's destination marketing.
